The Fourth Day of Christmas

<<<<< The Third Day of Christmas

Twas the night before Future Christmas, when all through the peanut factory
not a goober was stirring, all were packaged inventory.
The fresh peanuts were hung by the roaster with care,
in hopes that Mr. Peanut soon would be there.

The seedlings were nestled all snug in their cloning pods,
while they had visions of salt sprinkled 'cross their unsalted bods.
And one woman with nothing but a hat on her head,
had just settled down with George Washington Carver in his bed.

When out on the factory floor their arose such a clatter, GWC sprang up from bed to see what was the matter.
Away to his computer he flew with a flash,
to check the security system for someone stealing his peanut stash.

The camera showed nothing, there was nothing to show,
on the factory floor, located just below.
When what to his wondering eyes should appear,
but a red haired elf in green robe and with pointy ear'.

As he saw this elf's hair, his temper rose to a furor,
a fiery red mane, he knew it must be Dlanor.
More rapid than a skytrain, for the peanuts he came,
and he laughed and he shouted and he called them by name!

"Now Spanish and Runner and Virginia too,
Valencia, Tennessee Red, White, and Blue!
All through the factory, I will take you all,
shoot, that's the alarm. Run away! I hope I don't fall!"

As dry leaves that before the wild future hurricane fly,
when they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So with his jetpack, out the glass ceiling the thief flew,
taking with him Carver's experimental new peanut, of the color blue.

GWC was so sad that he wanted to cry,
the inventor ran to his window and saw the elf flying so high.
And he heard the thief shout, 'ere he flew out of sight,
"Happy Future Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
